The evening commenced with a stirring performance by The Scots College Pipe Band, setting the tone for a memorable night of connection, inspiration and impact. Guests were welcomed by Sydney FC Founding Shareholder, Alina Barlow, who reflected on the Foundation's growth and its vision to ensure more people can access the life-changing benefits of sport.

One of the night's most memorable moments was a powerchair football exhibition, showcasing the skill, determination and inclusivity that sit at the heart of the Foundation's programs. The demonstration provided guests with a powerful insight into the opportunities sport can create when barriers are removed and participation is made accessible to all.

Guests also heard an inspiring impact address from Sydney FC Foundation Chair Jenny Abood, highlighting the profound difference Sydney FC Foundation programs are making across Greater Sydney. Through initiatives supporting young people, girls, people with disability and diverse communities, the Foundation continues to use football as a vehicle for connection, confidence and opportunity.

The evening culminated in a remarkable display of generosity from guests, partners and supporters. Thanks to their contributions, the Foundation achieved its fundraising target, securing the resources needed to support an additional 4,000 participants across Sydney FC Foundation programs.

This extraordinary outcome will enable the Foundation to expand its reach and create more opportunities for individuals and communities to experience the positive impact of football—whether through building confidence, improving wellbeing, fostering inclusion or developing lifelong connections.

The Sydney FC Foundation extends its sincere thanks to every guest, sponsor, donor, volunteer and partner who contributed to the success of the inaugural Community Dinner.

Together, we are proving that football is more than a game. It is a force for social good, capable of creating meaningful change and strengthening communities for generations to come
